Xiaomi next flagship smartphone Mi5 is yet to be officially launched by the firm, but there is another leak for the Mi5 revealing the specs & some pics of the smartphone. The Xiaomi Mi5 is expected to be launched on February 20 and according to the leaked news it will go on sale starting from February 21st.
The Xiaomi Mi5 features a physical display button just below the display on the front panel while on the rear end the smartphone features a dual tone LED flash along with the primary camera. On the right there are the volume and power buttons.
For now it is displayed in only one colour variant i.e. black, there are no words on the different colour variants the smartphone is going to be made available. The price at which the smartphone is expected to be launched is CNY 1,999 (approx. Rs. 20,300) for the 32 GB ROM & 3 GB RAM variant and CNY 2,299 (approx. Rs. 23,400) for the 4GB RAM & 64GB ROM variant.

The Xiaomi Mi5 features a 5.2-inch QHD display with a screen resolution of 1440×2560 pixels and a pixel density of 565 ppi. The phone comes powered by a Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 processor (Quad-core 2.2 GHz & quad-core 1.8 GHz) and is coupled with Adreno 530 GPU.
The smartphone will be made available in two variants. First will come with 3 GB of RAM along with 32 GB internal storage and the second will be made available with 4 GB RAM alongside 64 GB ROM. It runs on Android Marshmallow OS with MIUI 7.
Xiaomi Mi5 sports a 16MP primary camera with dual tone LED flash support in addition to a 8MP front-facing snapper. It also comes with additional features including Geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, panorama, HDR.
The Xiaomi Mi5 is a dual SIM (LTE and LTE) smartphone. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, hotspo. Sensors on the phone include Fingerprint (ultrasound), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer. The phone is powered by a 3600 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery.
