Google is coming up with its new successor to the Google pixel named as Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL and as usual the buzz about the expected features that the device will be offering is on high. Will two new leaks we can expect the the new Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL might be featuring Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Pro SoC along with bendable OLED display.
With a latest news about Google’s offer to invest 1 Trillion won (approx $880 million) to LG for boosting up the production of OLED display, it has been confirmed that the search giant might be coming with bendable curved OLED display panel in its upcoming Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 smartphones. This will surely be making the device a tough competitor against the upcoming devices from Samsung and Apple. Not only Google is looking for flexible OLED display in its smartphones, but also a recent news confirmed that Apple has also approached Samsung to deliver around 70 million unit of OLED panels.

The second leak suggest that Pixel 2 will be featuring Snapdragon 835 Pro SoC which is currently being featured in Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. As the name suggest the processor will be an upgraded version of Snapdragon 835 and besides offering better performance to its users, it will also be offering a download speed of upto 1 Gbps with the inclusion of X16 LTE modem in it.
Google has also confirmed the code name for these devices as the Google Pixel 2 has been named “Muskie” and Pixel 2 XL has been code named as “Walleye”. Also a third variant is also spotted which is expected as Pixel 2 XXL and has also been code named as “Taimen”. The prices for the device is yet not confirmed, however launch for these devices has been confirmed for Q3 2017.
