Nokia is all set to make a comeback into mobile phones market with its first android smartphone Nokia 6. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat, features a 5.5-inch display with full HD resolution and is wrapped with a 2.5D corning Gorilla Glass.
Nokia 6 has got a 16-megapixel camera on the rear end which comes with phase-detection auto-focus(PDAF), 1.0um sensor, dual tone LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. Also a 8-megapixel camera has been mounted on the front. Nokia has earlier launched Nokia X series which was also an Android based smartphones but it did not attracted the market. Let’s see if this time Nokia will make some markets with this new Android series smartphones.
Nokia 6 comes with a 4 GB of RAM along with a 64 GB internal storage which can be expanded upto 128 GB and is powered by Qulacomm Snapdragon 430 processor. It has dual speakers, one on the top and other on the bottom, smart dual amplifier chips(TFA9891) offering 6dB louder sound and Dolby Atoms.
The smartphone also comes embedded with fingerprint sensor on home button which is unique and showcases aluminium alloy unibody design. Connectivity options in Nokia 6 includes GPS, bluetooth, 3G, 4G and dual SIM support. Apart from the fingerprint sensor the phone also features Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Ambient light sensor and Compass.
The Nokia 6 is available in Black color and will be launched only in China as of now. The phone will be sold exclusively on only one Chinese website JD.com at an expected price of 1699 yuan (US $245 / Rs. 16,740 approx).
