Reliance Digital launches new budget phone ‘Reconnect’ priced at Rs. 12,999

Reliance Digital has launched its third Reconnect smartphone on Thursday priced at Rs. 12,999. The smartphones is dubbed as RPSPE4701 and is available for purchase from the Reliance Digital website.

The Reconnect RPSPE4701 is powered by a quad-core Cortex A7 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz and coupled with a 1 GB of DDR3 RAM. The smartphone still runs on the Android 4.2.2 Jelly bean OS where the demand is for Android kitkat and most mobile companies are launching cheap smartphones with Android Kitkat OS.

The Reconnect RPSPE4701 supports dual SIM in which both the SIM comes with 3G support. The smartphone sports a 4.7-inch LED IPS display with a resolution of 720X1280 pixels. t sports a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with flash, while also housing a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear camera also features a BSI sensor.

It comes with an internal memory of 8 GB which can be further expanded upto 32 GB via microSD card slot. The Reliance Reconnect RPSPE4701 also includes a 2000mAh Li-ion battery that is rated to deliver up to 6-7 hours of talk time, and up to 225 hours of standby time.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, and 3G. The smartphone is available in Black and White colour variants and weighs 132.8 grams.
