T1 Prima Truck Racing Championship 2015 from Tata Motors, going to be held on March 15

The T1 Prima Truck Racing Championship season 2 is all set for March 15th and this time it is going to be on a bigger platform and with some better products as compared to the previous years championship. Wabco India will once again partner Tata Motors T1 PRIMA Truck Racing Championship for 2015 as Official Braking Technology Partner.


With the second season of T1 Prima Truck raching, Tata Motors it is trying to bring the concept of truck racing in India especially for the younger generation. This is expected to change the mind and thoughts for driving a Truck as a fashion product and not any more as a boring engine box carrying tons of load.

Wabco India will be at Buddh International F1 Circuit in Greater Noida at the 2015 Tata Motors T1 PRIMA Truck Racing Championship as official Braking Technology Partners. Introduced in 2014, season two of T1 Prima Truck Racing will be held on March 14-15, 2015. Two qualifiers will be held on 14th of five laps each. On 15th, two races will be scheduled of 10 and 15 laps. The no contact Prima Truck Racing sees 6 teams participate with two trucks each.


The new truck has been revamped from its exterior to its engine thus changing overall figures of its mechanics and dynamics as well. The Prima has been tweaked in such a way that it is now 10% lighter in weight, more in power, higher in speed & acceleration and also with better brake cooling system. With combining technologies from various contributors the Prima will be running at its top speed of 130-135 km/hr as compared to 115-117 km/hr in 2014 season 1.
